Opportunities for volunteering

Temple Judea, 5429 Lindley Ave. in Tarzana, needs volunteers to teach English classes designed to assist speakers of other languages in conversation, writing, grammar and reading. Tutors for

the temple’s award-winning English as a Second Language Program must complete 16 hours of training beginning this month and must make a minimum one-year commitment. Teaching assignments are
