The Field In Concert: Moogfest 2011 Published November 15, 2011 at 4:20 PM EST Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email Adam Kissick for NPR
The Field plays the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium at Moogfest on Friday, October 28, 2011.
Swedish trance minimalist The Field received innumerable accolades for his first two albums, 2007's From Here We Go Sublime and 2009's Yesterday and Today. Powered by subtle sea changes of
density and crescendo — and constructed out of synthesizers and samples — these restrained recordings elicit enormous emotion with simple ebb and flow. The Field's new album, Looping State
of Mind, came out this week.
Hear The Field perform a full concert, recorded live at Moogfest in Asheville, N.C.
