In 1938, the White River Junction VA Medical Center began its service to Veterans in a small three story T-shaped building. Now the Medical Center includes a hospital building, a 47,000

square foot research building, and buildings for surgical and ambulatory care, clinical care, and administration. We are an acute care facility providing a full range of primary and

specialty care. From these humble beginnings to the present, we have never wavered from our mission to provide excellent care to those we are so privileged to serve - the very reason the

hospital was founded.
