Las Vegas , NV — VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) reestablishes itself within a premier group of organizations that have received Pathway to Excellence® designation from the
American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). NORTH LAS VEGAS, NEV.- VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) reestablishes itself within a premier group of organizations that have
received Pathway to Excellence® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The Pathway designation is a global credential that highlights VASNHS’ commitment to
creating a healthy work environment where nurses feel empowered and valued. VASNHS’ nurses are an integral part of the healthcare team, with a voice in policy and practice. Pathway nurses
are engaged, resulting in higher job satisfaction, reduced turnover, improved safety, and better patient outcomes. As a Pathway organization, VASNHS leads the effort to enhance quality of
care, patient and nursing safety, and the future of healthcare delivery. “This prestigious honor is a reflection of the dedication our VASNHS team shows every day in caring for our
Veterans,” said acting VASNHS Nurse Executive Linda Rankin. “I am incredibly proud of the work that our nurses have done to earn the Pathway designation again this year.” This is the first
re-designation for VASNHS since receiving its initial award in 2020. At that time, VASNHS was the first healthcare facility in Southern Nevada and second facility in the state to receive
this designation. For more information visit the Pathway to Excellence recognition program .
