The location is in the Conference Center Main Entrance, located south of the Hotel Main Entrance, in the Black River Room.
The PACT Act recently expanded. The significance of the expansion is VA can care for all Veterans who served in the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Global War on Terror, or
any other combat zone after 9/11. Veterans who never deployed but were exposed to toxins or hazards while training or on active duty here at home – by working with chemicals, pesticides,
lead, asbestos, certain paints, nuclear weapons, x-rays, and more, can also receive care.
You can learn about Toxic Exposure Screenings, get answers about VA claims and benefits, have an opportunity to file a claim and complete your toxic exposure screening and exam during the
event.
If you can’t attend, and are already enrolled, please contact your Primary Care Team to schedule an appointment for Toxic Exposure Screening. If you are not currently enrolled in VA health
care, please contact Eligibility at 989-497-2500, Ext. 13120 or 13121.
