the tech giant is hosting a Surface hardware event in New York. The company had started sending out media invites for the event late last month and now it has teased some inside details

about it. The teaser shared by both Chief Product Officer Panos Panay and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella shows the Surface logo and shape of a processor. Though it does not exactly reveal what

it will be, it suggests that the company has something significant behind the curtains which will mark the attendance of CEO Satya Nadella as well.  Microsoft has been working on a

dual-screen Surface laptop for two years now. The October 2 event could be the day when we could finally see the long-rumoured device become a reality. The upcoming Surface laptop has been

codenamed ''Centaurus' and is in the works for a long time now. The launch of this dual-screen laptop from Microsoft could mark the beginning of the new wave of dual-screen

number of online reports suggest that the company will most likely also release some refreshes to its Surface line. The company is tipped to launch a Qualcomm-based Surface, an AMD-powered

Surface Laptop, and a new Surface Pro with USB Type C at the event. In addition to this, Microsoft is anticipated to launch a new variant of Windows that is rumoured to be codenamed

''Windows Lite." As its name suggests the Windows Lite will most likely be a stripped-down version of original Windows. RELATED NEWS At the event, we could also witness the
