Violence escalates in darjeeling as gorkhaland row intensifies

The violence in the hill city of Darjeeling does not seem to recede as protestors allegedly hailing from the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) set the tourist information center in Mall Road

ablaze. Resorting to the act of ‘award wapsi’, four awardees namely, KS Moktan, Karma Yonzon, Prabhat Pradhan and Navratna Pradhan, have returned their awards to the West Bengal government.
