Bowles. Bowles senior’s love of the delta blues started in his early twenties, and he bought his first resonator guitar in 1991. Over the past 20 years he has played at various venues across

WA and picked up a few awards along the way. Junior started playing the guitar around the age of 12 years old, but after going through a tough year he was drawn to the delta blues too. In

late 2007, Greg and Junior decided to join forces and The Resonators was formed. The talented duo have since introduced other musical instruments beyond the Resonator guitars, adding the

banjo, mandolin and washboard, as well as 12-string acoustic and 6-string acoustic guitars to their performances. In 2011 The Resonators played at the Australian Blues Festival in Goulburn

NSW and took out the busking competition. The Resonators also both have successful solo careers. Greg continues to play his resonator and acoustic guitars at venues across WA and regularly

plays at the Bridgetown Blues Festival, where he was awarded Best New Emerging Talent in 1996. In early 2011 Junior released his debut solo album, The Time Has Come on vinyl. The Resonators
