Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's marital woes take center stage in the latest trailer for _The Valley_. In the _Vanderpump Rules_ spinoff's supertease released Monday, Jax is
seemingly confident about his current stage in life — and he even expresses such to his pal and former costar Tom Schwartz. "I've got a beautiful son. I've got a beautiful
bar. I got money in the bank," says Jax, 44. But Schwartz, 41, jokes :"It's only a matter of time before you're living with me — divorced and miserable." Jax shoots
back with a laugh, "Don't say that!" Even though the men were joking at the time, Schwartz's comment now seems foreboding given how the trailer goes on to show a range of
marital problems for the couple, who announced their separation on Feb. 29. In the teaser, Brittany has "baby fever" and is even seen checking pregnancy tests. Yet, Jax believes
"bringing in another human being" is "worrisome to me." His remark sparks an emotional reaction from the Kentucky native, leading the _House of Villains_ alum to advise
his wife not to cry. "See, I can't even have an emotion," says the mother to Cruz, 35. "No, you can't," says Jax. The next scene shows Brittany sharing her
struggles as a wife with a friend: "I don't feel like he's attracted to me. Like, we don't have sex ever." And as Jax notes how "it's so hard to be married
sometimes," one of their costars mentions that "there's a rumor about Jax cheating online." He is then shown confessing to Brittany: "I don't know how to
manage raising a child, raising a family, starting a business." Later, on what appears to be a group getaway, the pair are seen fighting in front of their friends. "You're my
f---ing husband, and you're trying to make me look like I'm a bad person. F--- you," says Brittany as Jax adds, "She has a f---ing problem." Brittany announced the
couple's separation in February after four years of marriage. Sharing the news on their joint podcast _When Reality Hits_, she said the pair are "taking time apart" and noted
that she "made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health." "I'm taking one day at a time," she added. "I don’t
know what the future holds, but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz and I love you guys. Pray for us and everything will be just fine. We’re good." Jax and Brittany
aren't the only ones tackling major life hurdles on _The Valley_. Jesse and Michelle Lally, for one, have a candid chat about their future as he asks: "Do you want this
relationship to work?" "I don't know," Michelle admits. Jason and Janet Caperna also have a vulnerable conversation, as Janet wonders, "Do you think everybody was
just as happy as us before they had kids?" A teary-eyed Kristen Doute expresses frustration over constantly being "the only one who ever has to own my s---." In the next
scene, her castmate Nia Booko yells at her, saying, "Do you know what you have done to my marriage, and my life, and my daughter?" "I didn't sign up for this all over
again just to go through it again," Kristen, 41, later adds. "I'd rather be on _Vandepump Rules_." NEVER MISS A STORY — SIGN UP FOR PEOPLE'S FREE DAILY NEWSLETTER TO
