Infield scrum! It’s the time of year for frantic, sphincter-tightening scoreboard-watching, so we’re sure a lot of you stayed up to watch at least _part _of the Orioles-Mariners game last

night, considering the rains washed away the Yankees. We’re guessing you didn’t make it all the way through, though, because _the game went eighteen innings. _The Orioles ended up winning

4–2 to move into a tie with the Yanks for first place, though they’re probably not thinking about that now; they’re probably just thinking about being chased by a dragon in a vest. (They’re

asleep and dreaming, you see.) The game lasted five hours and 44 minutes and started at 10:15 p.m. ET, which means it ended at roughly 4 a.m. The Orioles used eight pitchers last night,

which put them in such a bind that, as Ken Rosenthal reported this morning, they’re calling up _Über _prospect Dylan Bundy, who is 19 years old and has only pitched about 100 professional

innings, all of them in low A or Double A. That might seem strange, but after the jump, check out this guy’s ridiculous curveball. The Orioles are pushing hard for this, people. Well, not

right now. Right now they’re sleeping. Yipes.
