ABSTRACT To help determine the origin of ionospheric echoes received on low-frequency sweep equipment it is very desirable to know their polarization, but unfortunately such information is


not easy to record or display in a convenient manner. However, one of the most important parameters of the polarization is the sense of rotation of the wave vector, and a method has been
