MEGHAN MARKLE’S NETFLIX SHOW WITH LOVE, MEGHAN HAS BEEN SLAMMED BY CRITICS, YET THE STREAMING GIANT IS MOVING AHEAD WITH A SECOND SEASON. SHOULD THE DUCHESS OF SUSSEX’S SERIES GET ANOTHER

SHOT, OR IS IT TIME TO PULL THE PLUG ... 11:31, 08 Mar 2025 So Netflix has_ already_ renewed Meghan Markle's latest show, With Love, Meghan, for a second season - a move blasted by an

industry professional as 'absurd'. The series was panned by critics this week after it debuted on the streaming service. Viewers called for it to be axed, saying it was hopelessly

"out of touch" with pretty much everyone. But Netflix wants to bring it back - with some scenes for the second season already filmed! It's a decision that's shocked many

across the industry. Jon Roseman, a long-time industry professional who's worked with high-profile names like Anne Diamond and Kate Garraway, isn't too impressed by the green

light. He called the move 'absurd', questioning how Netflix could give the go ahead to another season when critics universally hated it. He said: “There must be desperation

involved if Meghan has got something so wrong, and all the critics hate it, and then Netflix announces: ‘We have done another series". Article continues below If you can't see the

keep the show going to fund her lifestyle. Meghan’s programme definitely has its moments where it feels like she’s holding on to her royal past, like when she reminded one guest that she

still uses the name "Sussex," a direct link to her former life in the royal family. Some people took this as a sign that she might still dream of a royal comeback. Article

return to royal life. "I don't think we will see her walking back into royal life; she doesn't want it," she told Mail Online. And Richard Eden, the royal editor at the

Daily Mail, agrees, adding, "There's no way that he (Prince Harry) and Meghan will be invited back to the Firm while they're still trying to make a fortune in the US."
