Trump is 75 years old and there is a decent chance he will run for election in 2024 (my preference is some other Republican leader gets the nomination), but if he runs and wins in light of

Biden disastrous approval rating, any criminal prosecutions against him would have to wait until 2028 at the soonest. Any Federal prosecutions will have been dropped by then since many are

politically motivated (again not suggesting a crime has or has not been motivated, but for the same reasons Hillary has not been prosecuted, Trump won't be). Meanwhile, the current

state prosecutions will involve legal challenges that even if he does not get elected could take 10 years to wind their way through the courts, since they involve complex legal issues which

create a host of appealable issues. By the time Trump exhausts his appeals, he will be between 85-89 years old, and I suspect long before then many of the issues will be mute. Some of the

allegations like the ones suggesting he misled banks about the value of his properties get very far, since banks that failed to do their own property valuation will be deemed negligent and

equally responsible. I was involved in two cases of obvious inflated valuations by the selling through misrepresentations of the financial statements, where we (the prosecution) proved

beyond a doubt that the seller provided misleading information about their company (it was an acquisition). The court agreed and then decided both the buyer and seller were

"sophisticated" parties and had plenty of time to do "due diligence" and so must have been satisfied or negligent since these problems were "discoverable". So,

if Trump said his buildings were worth $5 billion, but really, they worth $2 billion, the banks could have "discovered" their value by engaging an expert to assess their value.

This claim is very common in real estate and usually goes nowhere once you get past the politics and emotions. As for Trump's children, so far, the assertions are largely noise.

Let's not confuse the fact that the media is trying to do everything in their power to prevent Trump from being reelected as are Democrats, so the "music" will continue until
