artiste_, au sein de l'espace THE ISLAND NEW MATERIALITIES OF DIGITAL ART The conversation will focus on the evolution of materialities in art - from immateriality to hypermateriality
and new forms - that have been brought about by digital technologies. Theses technologies are now frequently embedded in physical material - processing, and reflecting back data gathered
from humans and the environment - or change the ways in which we represent, see and perceive our world. Using recent digital artworks as examples, the dicussion will explore how digital art
is reflecting on these new conditions of materiality.
