As I was putting up lights around the house this holiday season, I came across the string of lights that was new last year. It was a set of all blue lights, and I remembered that I put them

up last year as a tribute to all of the police officers everywhere who had lost their lives in the line of duty. I had read somewhere that there was a movement afoot to honor these heroes in

this way. As a police officer myself, I felt that it was a fitting tribute indeed. If you share this notion, consider adding a string of blue lights to your holiday decorations. They are
