Actress Vivica A. Fox of the Fox sitcom “Getting Personal” and the recent movie “Why Do Fools Fall in Love.” Cocktail Hour. If I get off work at a decent time on Friday, I like to go out and
have a nice glass of wine and dinner with my friends. We go to Shark Bar or Mr. Chow’s or Houston’s. I guess that list runs the gamut from casual to luxury! After dinner, I like to have
coffee or dessert at the Skybar. Event Planning. Lately, on Saturdays, I’ve been interior decorating and/or planning my wedding. There is so much to do, from picking out wallpaper and
couches to treadmills, desks and curtains. For the wedding, there’s everything from cake to invitations to the gown. But I do stop long enough for lunch at the Cheescake Factory or
California Pizza Kitchen. Working Up a Sweat. Saturday mornings I sleep in or go to the gym. I work with a personal trainer. We do Stairmaster or the treadmill and free weights. I’m not
really into spinning class or anything like that. Pampering Myself. In the afternoon, I like to nap and get a manicure and pedicure. Then, in the evening, if I don’t go out to dinner and to
the movies, I go to Beverly Hot Springs for a massage or the Body Clinic for a facial. For dinner, I like the Chart House in Redondo Beach. It’s near the shore and it’s quiet. An Early
Night. I don’t stay out too late on weekends, because it cuts into my alone time with my fiance, Christopher Harvest. He’s an R&B; singer, and he likes to sing to me. Sports Sunday.
Christopher and I go to church on Sunday mornings, and then we come home and make tacos. He loves to cook, so I’ve been blessed. We usually have friends over for football. We never miss Jets
or Patriots games. They are my favorite teams. MORE TO READ
