A suspected crew of armed robbers from Los Angeles was arrested Tuesday after allegedly holding up a Brea bank and leading police on a chase that wound through La Habra streets. The
suspected robbers were identified as Renaldo Carlos Palacio, 21; Delvin Deshawn Richmond Jr., 22; and Clarence Patrick Washington, 21. The name of the fourth suspect was withheld because he
is a juvenile. An officer responding to a 9:55 a.m. alarm at the Quaker City Federal Savings & Loan spotted the suspected robbers, said Brea Police Sgt. Tom Flenniken, and “the chase was
on.” A dye packet tucked in with the stolen money exploded a short distance from the bank and was thrown from the fleeing car, Flenniken said. The money was recovered by police. The men
were arrested in La Habra after abandoning their car. The suspects have felony records, Flenniken said. MORE TO READ
