Arrest in shooting that cost victim leg

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a La Habra shooting last year that left a bar employee with injuries that forced the amputation of his leg, police said. Investigators

had been seeking Jose Luis Ambrocio of Fullerton since the August shooting at the La Tavena bar that injured employee Juan Herrera Delgado, La Habra Police Det. Chuck Page said. Ambrocio was

allegedly chasing a rival through the bar and pointing a handgun at the man when Delgado intervened, police said. The two struggled and Delgado was shot twice, wounds that forced the

amputation of his left leg at the hip. Ambrocio was arrested Wednesday in Fullerton by Placentia police, Page said. Investigators believe Ambrocio, who was being sought on a $250,000 warrant
