Times will name prep all-stars

The Times 1988 Westside boys and girls high school all-star basketball teams will be announced in next Thursday’s edition. All players will be invited to The Times High School Basketball

Awards brunch at 9 a.m. May 1 at the Anaheim Hilton, 777 Convention Way. Each will receive a trophy and certificate. Boy and girl players and coaches of the year for each of The Times 12

circulation areas will be announced. The teams were chosen by a poll of area coaches. Paul Westhead, basketball coach at Loyola Marymount, will be guest speaker. MORE TO READ
