NEW YORK — Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and James Worthy of the Los Angeles Lakers and five other players were named to the Western Conference team as reserves for next month’s NBA All-Star Game, the
league announced today. Other reserves, selected by Western Conference coaches for the Feb. 7 game in Chicago, will be center Steve Johnson of Portland, guards Clyde Drexler of Portland and
