The Times will sponsor, as a benefit for The Times Fund, a special premiere showing Monday night of the official film of the 1984 Olympics. The film, entitled “16 Days of Glory” and produced
by Bud Greenspan, will be shown at the Academy of Motion Arts and Sciences’ Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. Athletes scheduled to be in attendance are Carl Lewis, Rowdy Gaines,
Peter Vidmar, Mitch Gaylord, Paul Gonzales, Evelyn Ashford, Greg Louganis, John Moffet and Valerie Brisco-Hooks. Each is featured in the film. Tickets for the premiere, proceeds of which go
