Rock video tells teen-agers how to get a job

SACRAMENTO — A rock videotape has been produced by a state agency to educate teen-agers on strategies for getting jobs. “Make a Dream Happen,” a 24-minute production with original rock

music, was produced by the state Health and Welfare Agency and financed by the State Job Training and Partnership Act and the State Job Training Coordinating Council. The videotape

chronicles the efforts of four teen-agers seeking jobs. It includes tips on how to look for a job and the availability of job training and placement services offered by the state. “We have

structured this film to hold the interest of our target audience--high school juniors and seniors,” said David Swoap, secretary of the Health and Welfare Agency. The videotape has been
