During the early hours of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' campaign, one of the biggest problems can be earning yourself a good wad of cash. Most of the main missions following CJ's
return to Grove Street deal out Respect as a reward and you don't exactly have the means to build a highly-profitable criminal empire from the off-set. However, that doesn't mean
you have to stay penniless. For those wanting some reliable ways to rake in some dough, HERE'S HOW TO MAKE MONEY QUICKLY. This guide includes an update for the GTA: The Trilogy -
Definitive Edition release for Xbox, PC, and PS5. Looking for a specific section? Jump to it via the links below... COMPLETE VEHICLE MISSIONS There are a few decent ways to make some cash,
but few are as convenient as VEHICLE MISSIONS. To get these SIDE ACTIVITIES, all CJ has to do is jack a TAXI, POLICE CAR, FIRE ENGINE, AMBULANCE or TRAIN. Once he's inside, you can
press down the RIGHT ANALOGUE STICK / 2 KEY to initiate a vehicle mission. If you're having trouble finding an ambulance or fire engine, the easiest way to find either is to cause an
emergency they would have to solve. BLOWING UP CARS WILL GET THE ATTENTION OF A NEARBY FIRE ENGINE and INCAPACITATING PEDESTRIANS WILL SUMMON AN AMBULANCE. These missions usually task CJ
with completing a task in a set time limit, with the mission themed around whichever vehicle he originally jacked. If you're in a police car, YOU'LL HAVE TO HUNT DOWN CRIMINALS. As
for an ambulance, YOU'LL PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE. The jobs will get harder as you go but you'll get more money for completing them. For a breakdown of every vehicle mission and how
to complete it, have a look at IGN's VEHICLE MISSION GUIDE. COMPLETE ASSET MISSIONS A sure-fire way to make consistent money is through ASSET MISSIONS. These activities will usually
provide CJ with some money anyway, but stick with them and they'll eventually reward you with buildings you can ROUTINELY VISIT FOR FREE CASH. CJ's house becomes an asset during
the DOBERMAN mission, meaning you can return there periodically for some money, but you'll be able to add an array of other buildings to your asset lineup throughout the campaign. One
to seek out in Los Santos is ROBOI'S FOOD MART, which will become an asset after CJ's completed four levels of courier missions. Netting yourself Roboi's Food Market during
the game's first act is a great way to get a regular cash flow early. If you want a detailed breakdown of all the asset missions in San Andreas, check out IGN's ASSET MISSIONS
GUIDE. COMPLETE BURGLAR MISSIONS Another mission type that rewards you with a hefty sum of cash is BURGLAR MISSIONS. They'll be unlocked during the Ryder mission HOME INVASION and focus
on CJ entering houses after dark and taking everything he finds. You can net some pretty great rewards from Burglar Missions, with CASH BEING THE MAIN PRIZE. To complete a Burglar Mission,
all you have to do is TRACK DOWN A BLACK VAN similar to the one you used during the Ryder mission. You can find one stashed across the road from GANTON GYM. Hop in at night and press the
RIGHT ANALOGUE STICK / 2 KEY. You'll now be able to enter houses and steal items. Rob as many houses as possible and you'll come away with a good amount of spending money. For an
in-depth run-through of how to ace every Burglar Mission, take a look at IGN'S BURGLAR MISSION GUIDE. KILL DRUG DEALERS Another easy way to make a lot of money quickly is to eliminate
DRUG DEALERS. These NPCs will drop a lot of cash when killed, making them a great way to make some fast bank. It's pretty easy to notice a dealer, as they'll often stand in place
with their hands crossed in front of them. If you aren't sure whether the NPC you're watching is a dealer, wait a while. If they are selling drugs, ANOTHER PEDESTRIAN WILL APPROACH
THEM TO DO A DEAL. Kill the dealer and take the cash lying on the ground. It should be somewhere around the $2,000 MARK. It's worth noting that DRUG DEALERS WILL BE ARMED, although
they'll likely just be packing a pistol. Still, be cautious if you're low on health. SAVE BEFORE GAMBLING If you want to play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas without taking any
shortcuts, this is probably a money-making scheme to skip. For those who don't mind exploiting the game a tiny bit, they'll be able to make a lot of money relatively quickly. One
of the fastest ways to make money in San Andreas is to gamble, although it's obviously very luck-based. However, if you SAVE YOUR GAME before heading to one of the game's various
horse racing venues or casinos, you can make a lot of risk-free cash. Simply save the game, make your way to your gambling activity of choice and bet as much money as possible. IF YOU LOSE,
RELOAD FROM THE PAUSE MENU, head back to the venue and try again. IF YOU WIN, HEAD BACK TO THE SAVE POINT AND LOG YOUR PROGRESS before returning to make more bank. This is particularly handy
early in the game, with CJ able to make a fair amount of change going back and forth between a save point and the INSIDE TRACK betting shop located beneath THE MULHOLLAND INTERSECTION.
Check out the ACTIVITIES AND GAMES PAGE to see what other gambling opportunities you can seek out.
