The Chelsea youngster is currently on loan at Middlesbrough. What does next season hold for Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford? He is just one of dozens of Chelsea youngsters out on loan at
the moment. Bamford spent last season on loan at MK Dons and then Derby County, spending this season at Middlesbrough. In that time he has scored 41 goals, so he is certainly impressing. But
the reality is he will not be playing for Chelsea in the near future considering the talents they currently have and will probably acquire in the summer. So should he leave Chelsea this
summer, either permanently or again on loan, perhaps a return to Nottingham Forest should be on the cards? A local lad, he remains a fan, and is still popular despite his loan spell at
rivals Derby County last season. He left Forest to join Chelsea in what the BBC reported was a £1.5 million deal in 2012 and the City Ground would love to have him back in the summer. Forest
are without Britt Assombalonga until 2016 at the earliest and will be in need of a striker in the summer. Bamford should be firmly in the thoughts for Dougie Freedman, or whoever is in
charge at the City Ground, when the transfer window reopens.
