Army hosts iftar parties

Army hosted and iftar parties at Chotan, Anantnag Highground, Ziran, Bela Salamabad, Budgam, Khadniyar, Gingle, Paro and Uri Town during the past few days, an Army spokesman said in a

statement.  He said that guestsfrom all facets of society were invited to exchange Ramadan greetings and totogether celebrate the spirit of the divine season. The functions were attended by

civil administrationofficials, J&K Police, local polity, media persons, village elders andlocals. The huge number of attendees gave the celebrations a vibrant atmosphereat all the

venues, the spokesman added.
