On 17 November in Skopje by signing a memorandum for cooperation the British Embassy launched programme assistance for methodologies of intelligence gathering as part of the UK support to
capacity building for the Macedonian security sector. The programme was launched in Skopje by signing a memorandum of cooperation of the British Embassy, the UK National Crime Agency and the
Macedonian Bureau for Public Security.
In their addressing remarks the Bureau Director Mitko Cavkov, ambassador Charles Garrett and the NCA Regional Director Hadley Gill underlined the excellent cooperation between the British
and Macedonian institutions and expressed hope that both parties will see the benefit from the cooperation in this project of sharing good practices.
The programme support will be implemented by series of trainings in the period of November 2014 until March 2015.
