1000lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton was rendered speechless by her momentous weight loss achievement, having started the series at a staggering 700lbs.

On the show's season seven, Tammy was astounded to see the scales on TLC's reality program display that her weight had plummeted to 201lbs, an astonishing reduction from her

starting point five years prior.

The pivotal scale moment was shared on TLC's Instagram, captioned: "Tammy can't believe her eyes when she steps on the scale on #1000lbSisters."

"Am I reading that wrong?" she queried, before receiving confirmation of the drop. "I've lost about 50-something pounds since being here?"

Tammy, who appeared overwhelmed with joy, received words of encouragement from her sister Amy: "201lbs, that's freaking amazing, girl."

Reflecting on her new size, Tammy remarked, "I can't remember the last time being this small," reports the Mirror US.

In a revealing confessional, she conveyed her disbelief: "When I got on the scale, and I seen it said 200, I was like, 'There ain't no way I'm looking at that right'."

Viewers of the show expressed their happiness for Tammy, praising her dedication and success.

One fan observed: "And she's well under 200 without all the extra clothes and shoes! That's amazing!!"

A fellow viewer commented excitedly: "Tammy... you're about to be in the 100s!! THE 100s GIRL!! From 1000lb sisters to 100 something lb sister, wow!!! All PRAISE TO GOD!!!"

An enthusiastic follower exclaimed: "Way to go Tammy! I can't wait to see her skin removal reveal, she's going to look and feel like a whole new person.

"Her confidence is already starting to show, so happy for you."

A final admirer chimed in: "So proud of you, Tammy! Keep up the good work!"

Tammy's journey took another significant step forward during season seven as she was given the green light for skin removal surgery.

Doctor Eric Smith posted on Instagram: "She's earned this. It's not the end of her journey-it's a reward for how far she's come.

"She's stayed committed, dialed in her nutrition and I couldn't be prouder. Let's go, Tammy!"

1000lbs Sisters season 7 concludes Tuesday, 3rd June on TLC.
