A video captured a man dressed in a blue top and jeans attempting to open the boot of his car. He stared at the boot before grabbing the end of it to push it further open. After pushing it

hard, it suddenly clicked further back. What happens next is most likely to cost a pretty penny to fix. He appeared to have forgotten about the ladder on top of the car as he pushed the

window up. Thanks to the pressure, it smashed through the back of the window. The glass then shattered and fell into the back of the car. Shocked by what happened, the man turned around and

clapped sarcastically after it happened. He then looked up at the sky with hands on his hips as he seemed unsure of what to do next. The man then leaned on the back of the car and seemed

resigned to what happened. After being posted on sharing website Imgur, the video has been watched more than 100,000 times. Online users were amazed by how he reacted after his foolish

mistake. One wrote: “A man who appreciates own mistake is a grown man.” Another remarked: “+1 for the sarcastic self-clap." Other online users were not so kind about his mistake.

“People who think more force is the answer are not very intelligent,” someone wrote. An Imgur user had little sympathy: “I was going to be angry at him, but him mocking himself makes it a

little bit better.” It isn’t the first time something embarrassing was caught on camera before going viral. A young woman attempted to run under a dropping car barrier only for it to hit her

in the face and knock her to the door. Her flip-flop also flew off in the dramatic fall.
