Melania Trump said she is the most bullied person in the world. She then softened her comment to say she is “one of” the most bullied. During her first solo interview, the First Lady told
ABC News: “I could say I’m the most bullied person in the world.” The interviewer, looking rather surprised, questioned: “You think you’re the most bullied person in the world?” Mrs Trump
replied: “One of them. If you really see what people are saying about me.” The shocking statement came about after ABC News interviewer Tom Llamas asked the First Lady what had happened to
her “personally” that made her want to tackle the issue of cyberbullying. The interview discussed Melania Trump’s ‘Be Best’ anti-bullying initiative. Mrs Trump said: “My ‘Be Best’ initiative
is focusing on social media and online behaviour. “We need to educate the children of social emotional behaviour, so when they grow up they know how to deal with those issues. “Also with
opiod abuse - we have a big crisis in the United States.” While away in Africa, Melania sat down with ABC News for an exclusive tell-all interview. ABC teased a trailer of the interview with
chief national affairs correspondent Tom Llamas declaring: “You did agree to this interview, to your credit, with no preconditions. “Knowing that there would be some tough questions asked.”
Melania appears relaxed, agreeing with the interviewer that she had no preconditions with the interview. The interview then goes on to ask the First Lady about her marriage to Donald Trump,
his infidelity and the #MeToo movement that has swept through social media. The full interview, titled ‘Being Melania’, will air tomorrow as an ABC special at 10pm EST (3am BST on
Saturday).
