BBC Meteorologist Darren Bett forecast “heavy rain and strong winds” through the Balearics and into the eastern mainland of Spain and “some snow in the mountains” as well. This is all due to

Storm Gloria, which is still “on the scene” as well. Mr Bett also warned of “more wet and windy weather” to come on Tuesday. He told viewers: “Windy weather too across northern parts of

Europe. “It may feel a touch chillier on Tuesday, but still quite mild for the time of year. “High pressure dominates across much of central Europe. “So it will be a frosty start in the

morning, some areas of fog will be around too which will be slow to lift.” READ MORE: BBC WEATHER: CAROL KIRKWOOD WARNS OF ‘BLIZZARDS’ THRASHING UK The weather presenter continued: “Heading

side of the Mediterranean where the wettest of the weather is probably going to be heading its way northwards, up towards Barcelona and into the Pyrenees. “Of course, there’ll be some more

snow in the mountains.” The meteorologist said: “High pressure will be across central areas, still some wet weather heading into southern parts of France, the threat of some flooding here as
