The Duke of Cambridge is poised to “dominate” the unveiling event in honour of what would have been his mother’s 60th birthday, according to an insider. Prince Harry could be planning to
return to the UK for the ceremony, which will culminate a project the two brothers started back in 2017. But according to a source, the trip could prove to be a difficult experience for the
Duke of Sussex after his brief visit earlier this year for the funeral of Prince Philip. The insider told Radar that Meghan Markle "knows how hard it was to attend his grandfather’s
funeral alone” and that she does not want that to happen again. The source added: "Meghan and Harry know the event is going to be dominated by Prince William, Kate and their children.
“The Cambridges call Kensington Palace home and have been working feverishly to make the entire event is flawless. "The day will not just be about honouring Diana on what would have
been her 60th birthday, but also an opportunity for William to take ownership of his mother's legacy." However, the Duke is expected to break his five-month paternity leave next
month to "put on a good show" with William at the event. Royal expert Ingrid Seward said she believes Harry will still return to the UK despite his leave from his job. She pointed
out that he is likely to put on a united front with his brother, but this might not signify they have "repaired their relationship overnight".
