division one, women's finals According to the NBL1 fixtures, this weekend's games have been moved to the end of the season, making for a vaunted final stretch for Launceston.


"It was one day of hope, it is what it is," Veale said.


"It is frustrating because all we want to do is get on the court and play, that's what the players train for every day of the week.


"But we completely understand the NBL1's position, they're just trying to keep people safe and take care of everyone."

- Sarah Veale The Torns are still scheduled to play two more home games depending on Victoria's COVID situation. They'll play Ringwood and Nunawading on August 21 and 28 respectively.


Veale said her team was prepared for a number of outcomes, including games against South Australian teams as well as the Hobart Chargers.
