of active gunman Las Vegas police are investigating reports of an active shooter at the Mandalay Bay Casino on the city's famous strip.

the scene last on Sunday night local time near Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.

Mandalay Bay is located on the south end of the Vegas strip and across from McCarran International Airport.

At least two people are dead and 24 injured with suspected gunshot wounds at Las Vegas Hospital, according to a spokesman.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed one suspect is down and continued to urge people to avoid the Strip.
