Shiv sena still in talks with bjp for cabinet posts

Although the Shiv Sena has adopted the role of opposition party on the second day of the special session of the state assembly, it remains in talks with the Bharatiya Janata Party for its

possible inclusion into the state cabinet. This was confirmed by BJP sources. When asked about a possible breakthrough, a senior leader said, "Anything can happen at any moment

now." The senior leader also pointed out that there are a few Sena MLAs who are eager to join the state cabinet; these MLAs are meeting BJP leaders with requests to sort out the issue

as early as possible. Striking a cautionary note, however, the BJP leader said that though at least two or three small groups of Sena MLAs are willing to strike a truce with BJP, they have

not succeeded in putting pressure on the Sena leadership so far.
