Lok Satta party president Jayaprakash Narayan underlined the need for all parties to work towards a political settlement over the Babhli dispute. Lok Satta party president Jayaprakash
Narayan today demanded that the Maharashtra government withdraw all charges against former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his TDP colleagues and release them
immediately. Narayan, who spoke to Andhra Pradesh chief minister K Rosaiah and chief secretary SV Prasad on telephone, underlined the need for all parties to work towards a political
settlement over the Babhli dispute and other projects without rousing parochial passions on either side of the border. Narayan condemned the forcible removal of the agitators, who comprised
legislators and MPs, and demanded that they be treated with dignity, courtesy, and respect.
