brichetziegler are working with students at jean moulin junior high in montreuil to re-think the traditional classroom and its furniture. the seine-saint-denis general council invited the


designers to develop ‘in situ’ over the course of a school year. using essential pieces of furniture, the designers are referencing the teens’ likes and expectations of everyday school


objects. the students participated in the project throughout the process, proposing improvements, choosing between drawings and helping to develop prototypes. several objects were created


that transform ordinary pieces of furniture, making the overall environment more uplifting and comfortable for both the students and their teachers. studio brichetziegler re-think the
