days before new york faced its whiteout snowstorm of the year, the wall street bull received a multi-coloured sweater over the holiday weekend. in the early hours of christmas eve, new

york-based guerilla artist olek crocheted together a number of handmade panels to give the 7,100 pound bronze statue a festive skin. influenced by the original sculptor of the bull, arturo

di modica, who in another guerrilla act placed the bull in its current location on christmas of 1987, the project is a direct christmas gift to the people of new york.

unfortunately, the bull was stripped of its sweater the morning after by the city’s caretakers.
