his lengthy spell at Kilmarnock.

The 24-year-old pens a two-year deal with the Holker Street club.

‌ Local lad Cameron joined the youth set-up 12 years ago before making his Killie debut in December 2016 but was never able to become a first-team regular.

‌ Despite playing games across nine separate seasons, the striker started just 10 leagues games and tallied 80 appearances and eight goals in total.

During his time at Rugby Park, he also had loans spells at Stranraer, Ayr United, Alloa Athletic and twice at Queen of the South.

Following their final match of the season, Cameron was emotional as he applauded the Killie faithful one last time.

“From joining the youth system at 13, making my professional debut at 16, and to ending my time at the club at almost 25, it has been an honour to represent the club for so long and have

loved every second of it!

“I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone, from my youth coaches, managers, teammates, backroom staff, and everyone associated with the club for being such a big part of my life,

making the last 11 years at the club so enjoyable.

‌ “I have met so many amazing people, made life long friendships and endless memories I will look back on fondly.

“And the Killie fans, thank you for the endless support both home and away through all the ups and downs there has been! Those European nights were special, I hope there is more to come.

“I wish the club nothing but every success in the future and will be keeping a keen eye on the score every weekend!”
