A Leamington shop has been closed down after issues surrounding child exploitation and illicit tobacco and vapes being sold. 'Serious' illegal activity had reportedly been taking


place at Mars Mini Market. Mars Mini Market, on Clemens Street in Leamington Spa, was closed for a six-month period by Coventry Magistrates' Court on Friday (May 30). Concerns had been


raised about the sale of illicit vapes and tobacco, Warwick District Council said. People living nearby had also reported antisocial behaviour and exploitation of children and young people

IN JUST DAYS AFTER 'INCREDIBLE JOURNEY' Within 48 hours of Mars Mini Market being closed by Warwick District Council, a person was arrested. It is understood that they illegally


entered the building on Clemens Street. A spokesman for Warwick District Council said: “We would like to express our sincere thanks to the community for providing vital intelligence that


supported us throughout this process. Your information made a significant difference and directly contributed to the success of this case. “We strongly encourage everyone to continue


reporting this type of behaviour so we can respond swiftly and take firm action against any other businesses operating in a similar way.” Anyone with information on illegal activity in their
