and died on Friday night, the Bristol County District Attorney said in a statement. The reported crash happened around 9 p.m. on Friday night near 278 President Avenue, the statement said.
Donalda Ferreira, 62, in the roadway on President Avenue on Friday night when a Chevy Sonic struck and killed her, the DA said. According to the statement, the driver was not under the
influence of any alcohol or drugs. Police did not arrest the driver, a 42-year-old woman. Her identity was not released. The DA’s office said an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
