FNN Denies Report: Financial News Network informed its employees that it is considering several preliminary proposals for “possible joint venture or business combination transactions.”

However, in response to a Hollywood trade report, Chairman Earl Brian said in a letter to employees that the firm has not agreed to any proposal and that there is no assurance that it will

reach an agreement. Brian said in late December that the company was talking to major TV networks about “joint programming initiatives.” However, he said Infotechnology Inc., of which he

also is chairman, was not seeking to sell its 45% stake in FNN.
